Re: Anthony Garrard, b. 1756 in Virginia, who married Elizabeth Green, b.1762, d. 1819 in Wilkes Co., Ga.,in North Carolina. They settled in Wilkes Co., Ga. and raised a family of at least nine children. My ancestor is Lucy Tyus Garrard, b. 1802, d. 1896 in Butts Co., Ga., who was a daughter.
Lucy Tyus Garrard married John Mitchell Dooly Bond in Wilkes Co., Ga. in 1873.
This is my family history as shared with me by a great aunt on my father's side. My name is Dianne Bond Blalock.
Please share with me any information you may have on Anthony's military service. My info is that he served in the North Carolina Militia during the Rev. War. I can't find proof of his service.
