William Garrard b circa 1795 Gissing, Norfolk

My ancestor William Garrard was born in Gissing, Norfolk, circa 1795. He had three brothers - one named George, but I do not know the names of the other two.
His father was Samuel Garrard, 'a weaver of hemp and flax cloth'. I don't know the name of his mother.
William married Sarah Norman, daughter of a Gissing farmer, in 1817. She died a year later, of 'a rapid consumption', but left a son, also William. I do not know who the younger William was brought up by - but quite possibly the Norman family.
William later became a baptist minister, eventually settling in Leicester, where he became quite well known. A volume of his memoirs was published shortly after his death in 1873.
His son William followed him to the Leicester area, settling in Ticknall, though he and his family were Anglicans and not baptists. I have a detailed family tree from this time onwards
I am looking for any information that can help to fill in the gaps in my knowledge, or that can extend the family tree back further.
