Well who is to say?? The children that I have include a James, but he was a printer who lived and died in Whitby. Family tradition talks about a child born at sea, which I have no other details about, and that the mother died young. As all the children seem to have lived with relatives it is possible that he remarried and emigrated, another son called James wouldn't have been out of the question.

I shall certainly look and see what I can find. Many thanks for posting the information.
