Hi Stephen,

You're right - but I have assumed, rightly or wrongly, that our lot came from Sanday or Eday which are further North.

I also looked at the family tree that I have been given (which of course may not be too accurate) and I could not find a common name.

But then I'm not an expert, so I guess that might not prove too much.

If you'd like a copy of the Garrick tree that I have just email me direct and I'll try to send you the gedcom.
