JOHN JACOB GARICK/MARY A. GARICK
Posted by: Sherry Moss Davis Date: October 30, 2001 at 21:32:08

I had responded to Deborah's message on this Forum but wanted to put this information out for both information and a query.

Found the grave sites of J. J. Garick, born in Orangeburg District, South Carolina, November 20, 1825, died in Jones County, Mississippi, July 2, 1885, and also on same site a marker that reads "John Jacob Garrick (yes one with 'r' and the other with 'rr'), CO F / 7 BN / MISS INF / CSA /
November 20, 1825 / July 2, 1885.

Right next to these stones is Mary A. Garick, born August 22, 1823, died January 17, 1897.

These are located in the Big Creek Cemetery in Big Creek Community of Jones County, Mississippi.

Are these husband and wife? Is this John Jacob, the brother to my direct relative, Ann Eugenia Garrick who married Daniel Coats?

Would love to share what I have with anyone.

Thanks,

Sherry Moss Davis
