There is a German Lutheran book put out with the Red Baptist Book. I purchased it after it was translated and it is in the library here in town.

I have information that Barbara Brandenburg married Daniel Garrick in Orangeburg SC 1824,and they moved to AL. She died along the way in childbirth and was buried in Augusta GA according to family history. Evidently her brother, Moses Brandenburg was traveling with them or came later. They must have been tranveling with the Haskews because Daniel Garrick stayed with them with his children after her death. His children married into the Haskew family. They came into Monroe County AL and it became part of Clarke county later or they moved. He never remarried. There were six children and I am descended from William Louis Garrick and his child, Manual Sylvestus Garrick.

From family history: Daniel's father was a Henry Garrick and I do not know the name of the wife. Barbara Brandenburg's family was a John Brandenburg. Both of these men are mentioned in this translated from the German, Lutheran Church in Orangeburg county SC.

Of the Daniel Garrick and Barbara Brandenburg children:
James Henry 1825
Rosanna R. 1826 married Jesse Haskew and Willia Bishop Hicks
Mary Magdeline 1828
William Louis 1830 married Martha E. Haskew
Susan Martha 1831
Samuel Luther 1832 died in the Civil War
Eliza Levine 1835 married James J. King

I have tried to find out about this family. I think that their previous name might have been Von Karik and was later changed to carick, carrick, garrick.

Would appreciate any feed back. Thank you

This is the record that I have from family records and such
