Henry Garver
I have a Henry Garver who married Deliverance Peck.
Henry was born around 1804 in Pennsylvania per the 1850 census. His children were
Sarah 1831 Michigan
William 1833 Michigan
John 1836 Michigan
Henry 1838 Indiana
Edward 1842 Indiana
Edwin 1842 Indiana
George W 1846 Missouri
Andrew J 1847 Missouri
Charles March 1850 Missouri
They were living in District 41, Jasper County, Missouri.
It says he was a Blacksmith and could not read or write.
He married Deliverance Peck around 1828 in Ohio.
In 1831 he purchased land 69.8 acres, 53.91 acres, 63.72 acres Toledo Strip, Kalamazoo and St. Joseph, Michigan.
Russell Peck Deliverances father also owned land in this same area adjoining to Henry Garver's. A Frederick Garver Sr. b. 1761 also owned land in this same area. (Do not know if this was his father or not)
In 1841 Henry bought land in Starke, Indiana 120 acres, 80 acres, 160 acres. Frederick Garver Sr. and Frederick Garver Jr. also bought land around this time. Russell Peck bought land and settled in Van Buren Iowa and Oskaloosa, Iowa.
In 1845 Henry Garver bought land in Barton County, Missouri. Frederick Garver Jr. bought land in Barton County, Missouri also.
Some time between 1850 and 1860 Henry Garver died. Because Deliverance married a Samuel Crowe and she died from what I understand in child birth before 1860 because Samuel Crowe and John Garver (Son of Henry and Deliverance) are listed with a Sarah and her husband Joshua F. Hickey in the 1860 census. Sarah I believe is the daughter of Samuel Crowe. And the rest of the Garver children are every where.
Would like some help with my brick wall.
Thanks and have a good day.
Michelle
