Gassaway Harvey

Margaret Beall, daughter of the William Beall who patented "Long Lookt For," married William Harvey Jr. about 1770 and lived in northwestern Montgomery County, Maryland, near the Frederick County line. They named a son Gassaway. Any idea why?

There was in the same general vicinity (though somewhat older than Margaret) a Charles Gassaway, husband of Ruth Beall (no known relation to Margaret). Who were Charles' parents?
