Hello Karen...
I found your posting about the Gassaway Gang very interesting. I have never heard of the gand before now. I am a Gassaway and I have Upton Gassaway and his family in my family database. I have his family traced back to the original immigrant, Col. Nicholas Gassaway (died in 1692) in Annapolis, MD. He immigrated from London, England around 1660. If you are a Gassaway I may be able to trace your family back to Col. Gassaway.
