Very interesting reading your line of the family. I have sent you a document, that probably contains a lot of those names. Hope you can read it.

I think my Great-great-grandfather, Edward, must have come from one of those lines and moved to Baltimore, probably sometime after 1860. I quit researching a while ago because of time and expense of Ancestry.com

Also did you know there is a town in West Virgina called "Gassaway"? It is named for Henry Gassaway Davis, a senator from West Virgina who was a canidate for Vice President around the 1900s.
