I can't afford to even search useing Genealogy.com it is just too expensive . I have been searching all over the web & I have an old copy Of The Anne Arundle county gentry. You & I are both from Baltimore -Gassaway family's, I am trying to figure out where we fit in . Your family was just as wealthy as we were because you & I are We ! Your related to John Hanson Gassaway , Also ! I am still not a hundred percent positive of who my Great Grand Fathers father was . I think it was either John Hanson Jr. Or his brother William Augustus Gassaway who married Mary Farrow . See my Late great uncle William Farrow Gassaway was named for His fathers mothers maiden name. The middle initial F.or Farrow , But here is the other problem the name farrow is used further back on another gassaways name also ??? , Now their another Problem all together . My Uncle use to talk about our close cousins in Baltimore, when I would go to Visit him . So do you see where I am leaning . I think you & I have a lot more in common it is a matter of searching in the Baltimore City Will archives. Is Your father still alive ? If you want to read some interesting things about us look up on Google.com John Hanson Gassaway under civil War Crimes . I think you will find the article interesting. I got to run . Thank you very much for sending me the info sheet on Gassaway Family dating back to 1640's By Richard Faber Jr. He is the one I asked for Help finding your ancestors. I really appreciate you taking your time and effort to send me the copy of Gassaway family Tree . Thank you very much Micheal. Sincerely yours John ,
