Okay, Now we are making headway Edward Gassaway is related to Capt. Charles Gassaway born 1780 in Anne Arundle County Died Nov. 26 1820 near pleasant Hill . Montgomery county Md. He was son of Major Nicholas Gassaway . I am also directly related to Capt,Charles Gassaway . My Eyes are really starting to cross now ! I think we are fairly closely related right up till the late 1800's . I don't Know why Doc didn't keep in touch with his relatives ?? But,He didn't?? Then my family (grate grand Father Dr. William Nicholas Gassaway who was my traded His Friend, Prime farm land He was willed by his late father William Augustus Gassaway .It was located near German town Md, for a Home sitting high on a bluff over looking the town of Ellicot City Md. The same House is where My father was Born in July 22 ,1933. I want to undo his mistakes & keep in touch with you .
