Searching for decendents and ancestors of my gg-grandparents Johan Gassner (b.1825) and Krezentia Walch (b 1826).

Arbogast b.1854, Barbara, Edward (my ggrandfather), Joseph, Otilla and Genevieve. As far as I know, all the children stayed in the Austria/Germany/Liechenstein area except for Arbogast who emigrated to Utica, Oneida Co., NY in 1891.

Edward married Caroline Fritz and had 4 boys (most of this is verbal family history and not yet confirmed) the youngest of whom was my grandfather Joseph b.1897 in Klosterle, Austria. Caroline and the older 3 boys died in some sort of accident, and Joseph went to live with his Aunt Barbara until he was 15. He emigrated to the US in 1913 and went to live with his Uncle Arbogast.

Arbogast married twice: Leopoldine Fritz (1852-1887)children: Urban 1883-1930, Crescentia Mary (Fay)1886-1921, Marie, Ceceliaabt 1890, Rupertabt 1891 and Martin. Second marriage: Sophia Walzer (d.1940) Olga 1890, Joseph 1892-1893, and Cecilia (Danquer)1893-1985. I'm not sure what the deal was with the wives, whether one died or divorced, but one child from each marriage was born about the same time ??? Hmmm..

I have more information and am in contact with some of the decendents of Arbogast, and would love to contact any other Gassner Family members!

Any information will be greatly appreciated and immediately acknowledged!
