I have a ggrandmother, LOUISE GABRIO, b. 18 Mar 1857, d/o LOUIS & MARGARET(DESMARAIS) GABRIO. She married ABRAHAM CARON and had seven children. She died in Faribault, MN 13 Mar 1930. According to family knowledge she and a brother and sister went to Minnesota after the death of their parents and all three married into the CARON family.
My question is this: do you have any simlarities in these people in your records? I'm sure GABRIO is an Americanization of a French name, but as yet have found no clue as to the correct spelling. Have already tried many variations, such as,Gaborault dit LaPalma, etc. Any crumb of info would be appreciated.
Thank you, Nancy (in Kentucky)
