County Galway, Ireland, 1800's

Hello. I don't think the GAVIN families coming from County Galway, Ireland, in the 1800's have been discussed recently. I was wondering if we wanted to summarize them.

From memory, my husband's great-grandfather was Peter GAVIN who, with his WHELAN wife, came to Massachusetts in the 1860's.

Betty (near Lowell, MA, USA)
