John Gavin of Maryborough,Queens,Irland

I am interested in my great grandads past his name John Gavin on his release papers from the army it states that he was born in the parish of Maryborough,Queens Irland he joined the 1st bn Norfolk served in the boar war and was released in warley england in 1907 and he settled in bradford yorkshire.i dont know if he married in irland or england his wife was called mary and may have been called mary murphy but not certain.he was born between 1871-1873.the only child they had was ellen gavin born bradford 1900.
