Greetings, have found several with early ties, though no proof of any direct links to lines - John Gale came to Flowerdew l00, VA. in 1623; Elias to James City Co.VA in early 1600's; Simon Gale in Middlesex Co., VA ca: 1702; George Gale of Whitehaven came to VA & MD in late 1600's, Christopher Gale of NC came in 1700; Matthew Gale to Gloucester Co. VA granted land in 1672 & the very earliest mention of an England/America connection was Robert Gale referenced in VA Company records in 1608 - but no proof that he was actually in America.Would be happy to share info via email address as some of my direct line went to Texas.
