Hi Oliver. Glad to hear from you. I have history of the Gazley name back to 1798. In 1874 Charles Gazley left England and went to Australia. I have bits and pieces of Gazley in New Zealand. I believe that it is the same family. How do we get this to-gether? Charles is the brother (one of them) of my Great grandfather James. Do you have any history at all. Need to go back to James Gazley B. 1798 married to Susannah Millman. They had a son James Thomas b. 1824 and a daughter Mary b. 1814. I have a copy of the marriage record of James and Susannah. James was only 16 when Mary was born. Have a record of her marriage also. Checked with the Archives in London Eng> thought that James' age was incorrect. Up until 1822 the legal age for a male to marry in England was 15 and a girl 12. Does any of this fit in with what you have. James Thomas Gazley was Charle's father.
