I located a John Gazley who was operating a saw mill and grist mill in 1765 in the town of Salt Point, Dutchess Co,New York. Do you know if he had a son named Elnathan Gazley, b. 1809 in Pleasant Valley, NY. Elnathan married Sarah B. Wilbus on 25 Dec 1835. Elnathan and Sarah had 5 children that I know of:
George Henry Gazley, b. about 1836 in NY
Alonzo Gazley, b. about 1838
Farlin Joseph Gazley, b. about 1840
Orlando Gazley, b. 1844, New York
Emily Gazley, b. 1853
