Hello James.
There is a Gazey geneaology site at genforum.
The Gazeys are being researched by several people and quite alot of information has been collated.
I don't know if Gazeys are related to the Gazleys, but there are alot of variations in the name spelling including Gazy, Gazay, Gace, Gacie over time.
The Gazeys appear to originate from around Warwick, England in the mid 16th Century. Before that ??
Please email me or post a message on the Gazey page, and someone should be able to help you further.
I have just looked up Gazeley on an atlas. Its just east of Newmarket - a lovely part of the country.
Best Wishes,
