Does anyone have information on this couple? (dates are estimates)
Timothy Geary b.1802-1810 Ireland
Abigail (maiden?) b.1812-1819 Ireland
children: John b.1836 Ire.; Michael b.1838 Ire; Mary b.1851 NY (maybe Albany area)
Unknown immigration year but they come to US before 1850 census
John & Michael are both "boatmen" in 1860 Albany,NYcensus. Family story says Michael on raft at sea for 15 days (and lives).
John probably marries a Catherine and has children John,Margaret,Mary,and possibly James. Widowed by 1880.
Mary (daughter of Timothy & Abigail) marries Michael McGlynn (bef 1877) and children: Elizabeth, Frank, John, James, Michael, Mary, William.
Looking for descendants and ancestors of Timothy & Abigail - don't know where in Ireland they are from.
