How accurate is this? And Help pls :o)
I am not sure how this information is recorded and posted, but I am a Geer that has at least 3 generations of a CYRUS GEER in it.The first I believe was a member of the union army in the civil war. The Pennsylvania 105th WildCat Regiemnt to be exact.And.. the latest Cyrus is my recently deceased granfather, go bless and rest his soul.I was kinda shocked to see that there was not one CYRUS mentioned in my quick search of this site, since there was at least 3 generations that I know of.My grandfathers sister, Virginia (Geer) Thorwart, Has geneology information of my immediate family, and dating all the way back to England.I believe Luther Geer was in the tree.Anyway, I am a recent and struggling geneologist-wanna-be than finds myself very interested when I actually get free time... which isnt often due to a new demanding job. I do however plan to get together with my aunt to get all of the information documentation recorded and copied. IF I am wanted at this forum, or if a link to my aunt is wanted I would be happy to give the info.
Also,I am wondering if ANYONE has our GEER family crest image in a larger format so that I may make shirts and hoodies for my, our family i should say, immediate family members.
PLEASE if you intend to reply to me... EMAIL me!This is the 3rd post I have left on a forum pertaining to our family... it will be a while until I get to check all my posts on all the different forums.
Sincerely,
Bryan D. Geer
