Dear Larry,

I'm sorry but up til now I have no connections to the Geers families living in Belgium. My research takes place in Amsterdam, where my ancestor Pieter Ignatius (probably from Germany) married in 1662 the daughter of Arent Lamberts, a locksmith from Groningen (about 3 hours drive from Amsterdasm). Pieter started using the surname Geers when his 3rd child married at the end of the 17th century. As far as I found out by now all his descendants were born, married and died in Amsterdam, Holland. I will keep your question on file, because you never know what you find in later days.

Kind regards, from sunny, but rainy Holland, where the winter stayed away this year.

Martin Geers
