no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Thomas Geers who died in Prince Edward co VA with a wife, Mary, had the following children, per a chancery court suit, now available on line through VirginiMemories, part of the digitized records of the VA State Library: Sally m. 1) William Hawkins, 2) Hezekiah Ellington; Polly m. Brackett Hawkins, Jane m. Robert Tarpley, McNess (also spelled Mackness, Mackners, etc.) moved to Hawkins co TN, John Geers and William R. Geers; still working on the ages, McNess is 63 in the 1850 census, his wife Polly is 58. The two Hawkins men were sons of Benjamin Hawkins who left a non-cupative will in Pr Ed. co VA in 1777, there are two chncery court suits for his estate also. Benjamin's wife at his death, Amey, may not have been the mother of his children. Geers is also spelled as Gears. Jan Knox
