In Reply to: Alexis Gelinas m. Louise Marguerite Landry 1837 Quebec, Canada son: Severe by Robin Lowe of 294

Found this Severe Gelinas in 1910 census...Hillsborough Manchester ED# 135 page #23 and Page #24
He is a widower he is 49 yrs old and works in a dye mill

His children is as follows

Lorenza age 16 born abt..1894.. she too works as a twister in dye mill

Anna age 15 born abt 1893... also works as twister in dye mill

Edwardina age 13 born abt 1897

Rosie age 10 born abt 1900

Onida age 6...born about 1904

Looks like possibly mother of these children died before coming to New Hampshire....All children born in Canada

Says they came from Canada in 1904

Also in the same census right above Severe at the beging is another Gelinas family.................Alphonse Gelinas with his family His age given as 61 with his wife and children

Your Severe may have been here as early as 1880 working in same town at age 18 not married as of yet with the same occupation
