Thank you very much for your assistance with obtaining and upgrading to version 8.5a. It is working perfectly.
Two questions:
1) I am able to save a copy of my file to a floppy, but not to a CD. Is there something I should know re version 8.5a that I do not, or do you think this is a disk problem? My drive works and I can copy other stuff to the CD, but there have been problems.I'm trying to sort out the issue.
2) I am considering making a switch from a PC to a MAC because I do a great deal of graphics work. I have a son who works for Microsoft, and I know that I can get Windows capabilities, but are there special issues related to Generations 8.5a that I should take into account? I'm into my high 500s with entries and would hate to have problems at this point as the system is working so well for me.
