Brinkley George b. 1786 North Carolina

I'm looking for information on the George family who lived in or near Orange County, North Carolina around 1780. Brinkley married Milly Boothe in Orange Co, NC, in 1810. Brinkley was the father of Henry George who wrote a book on the Civil War and the 7th Kentucky Infantry. Henry was also an Indian agent and was appointed to the Kentucky State Senate in 1876 and again in 1891.

I believe he died when Henry was about 14, so around 1861, and is possibly buried near Pilot Oak, Kentucky.

Looking for birth certificate and death certificate. Brinkley may be his middle name.

He was my 3rd great grandfather.

Thanks!
