Peter Gerard of Bryn & Kingsley married Margaret Stanley (dau. of Sir William Stanley) and their son was Sir Thomas Gerard (b. 1488, d. 1523 slain fighting Scots at Berwick-upon-Tweed) who was married to Margaret Trafford (dau. of Sir Edmund Trafford). This line goes back to a Sir Robert de Roos (Ros) who was one of the Baron who signed the Magna Charta. Somehow the Gerards are related to us but I loose the line with a William Gerard Gentleman, of the Newhall, Co, Lancaster. Hope this helps you, maybe you can help me? P.S. I can give you names back to Roos.
