Looking for the parents of Eli Alfanso Martin of may be from Montreal Canada who married Caroline Gerrad (Gerad)of New York. Eli A. born in 1840 and Caroline born in 1852. Children are Joseph, Florenece, William, Fred, Carlina, Anges, Charles, Lousie, Thomas, and Jennie (my grandmother). Jennie listed on death certificate as being born in Montreal. Would appreciate any help regarding Eli's family line on back.
