Congratulations on your excellent research?

I'm sure you didn't do it all yourself, but at least you had the skills and endurance to look in all the right places until you got the desired result.

Being of lesser skills, I was wondering if you could recommend any specific websites or contacts for the Gerard family and others in the Bryn - Ashton area.

I have the Gerard article from De Bretts Peerage but it generally only gives the direct line.

I am interested in the ancestors of Peter Gerard (1765 -1854) who married Sarah Downall (1766 - 1847) at Downall Green in 1788. The Downall family are on my wife's paternal line.

If it helps you, there are links to the names Fearnley, Rimmer, Speakman, Mather, Jameson, Winstanley and others which are common to that area.
