Hi, I am interested in your families that immigated to County, Ill. Our surname is Dellwo/Delwo/Delvo and as you probably know, everyone is related to everyone from the Hunsrucks. Maria Gerard ( Shirra, Shira) was married to Johann Peter Dellwo. She was born March 14, 1801, and died April 26,1862. I am looking specifically for histories of the families that immigrated to the chicago area, as I believe they might provide clues to the links between our families. Can you provide names of churches or addresses or places I could find them in a census? We had Dellwo's in the area both early in the 1840's and then a Heinrich that immigrated from Damflos in 1864, first went to ILL and then to Minnesota. My problem is I haven't been able to link him to the Damflos families, even though it is stated he comes from there. The family that was already there, I believe I have the link. Thanks for any help marge dellwo margedellwo@usfamily.net
