How very interesting that you have found proof that the Gerards and Jarretts in America were of the same family, and once again from illiteracy came a new spelling.

I am descendant of the Dr. Thomas Gerard who came to Maryland. His distant cousin is the one who came to America and returned to England. I do not have his marriage or names of children in my databank.

The Henry of whom you speak is his son. Did he have other children, and if so what were there names? I would surely appreciate seeing some of your work. It may hold answers to a number of things that I have not been able to find.

Thanks in advance.
