I just ran across your posting on the Gerard family. I think you must be interested in the relationship between Sir Thomas Gerard and William Gerard who married Constance. They were brothers. William had a baseborn son named Thomas who inherited Newhall. That Thomas had a son John who was the father of Dr. Thomas Gerard of Maryland.
