Lokking for Henry William Gerard Born 1899 - ????

I am looking for a Henry William Gerard born Feb 12th 1899 possibly in Massachusetts.I took his birth date from a WW1 draft registration index card that I know positivley to have been him as he was in Delaware at that time. Unfortunatley although it stated he was native born it had no state or place of birth. We think according to Family lore that he may have been born in Massachusetts.

Henry William Gerard is my Great Grandfather. In my Grandfathers baby book it states that Henry William Gerards parents were a Charles F. Gerard and a Bridget Murphy.

Its always been a great mystery what happened to him and where he ended up.Like quite a few others he left his family and dissapeared during the depression.

Everyone from that time is long since gone and I would love to find anything I could concerning my Great Grandfather.Gerard is my family name and I would love to not only find my great Grandfathers grave but also be able to research further back.

Other facts I know. Henry William Gerard worked as a Rail Road Flag man and an insurance collector.

There is some suggestion that he may have used the name Henry William Rogers and that he may have been in the Boston area and Vermont and New Hampshire area mid 20s to early 30s.

Any info would be greatly appreciated as this brick wall has been driving me mad for a few years now.

Good luck in your own pursuits and God Bless. Ian D. Gerard
