Lancaster Co. PA book /record: "Huguenot Settlers in North America and Europe". page unknown. States - An examination of emigrant lists ub Volume XVII. Penna. Archives (2nd series) discusses shiploads of "Foreigners", in this cas Huguenots:
In ship "Princess Augustis", September 16, 1736 - Jean Comer, Sebastian and Dietrick Coquelin, Pierre Delon, Nicolas Gerard, Jean Francois and Nicholas Orth.
I am interested in Gerrard /Gerard as my Lefever / Lefevre were Huguenot arriving 1709. My branch went to Lancaster, PA then Frederick Co. MD mid 1700's and then Huntingdon Co., Pennsylvania and brothers to Miami Co., Ohio in 1805 or 1806.
In the 1820 federal census, Staunton Township, Miami Co. OH adjacent households to Daniel & Christian Lefever are a Isaac Garrard, and a Nathaniel Garrard Sr. Others are several Harman or Herman (Peter & Daniel))
An 1837 Daniel Lefever will names Nathaniel Brown & Cyrus Harwood or Hewood / Heywood. Daniel Lefever claims ancestry includes DuBois. I have much Lefever information, but little on Deweese, Dye, Knoop & others in Staunton Twp. 1806 - 1820.
