Morris, I, too am interested in the Garrard/Gerrard/Gerard line. My husband and I both have this name in our ancestry, but I haven't been able to make a connection with the two different lines even though they were from the same area in Ohio. Am still trying. Anyway, I have Mehetable Gerrard,b.1775,in Green,PA.,d.5/21/1827 in Miami Co.,OH. She married Stephen Dye, 1789 Washington, PA. Stephen was b. 12/23/1770, Green,PA., d. 9/14/1851 in Shelby Co.,OH., son of Andrew S. Dye, Sr. and Sarah Minor. I also have Jacob Jirard Dye b.7/17/1810 m. Elizabeth DeWeese on Dec. 10,1829. Elizabeth b. 12/30/1808, d. 10/26/1877, both are buried Columbus Grove, OH., Fielding Lowery Dye b. 1/4/1808 m.(1) Ann Esty in Sidney, OH., m.(2) Sarah LeFevre on Dec. 13,1827. Sarah b.1815, d.10/2/1866. Have some more info on the Dye and Gerards. What do you have on these families? Janice Stafford
