Hi Stephen. Were the 3 wives you named, Nancy, Elizabeth Ayres, & Sarah Allen , the wives if Wiliam b. Aug. 29, 1786? Rev. Gerard I have only that he was born in Frederick Co., VA. My husband also is descended through his first son, William and Lucretia Pultz, but through theair son Isaac b. March 28, 1775, and Christiana Pultz, their daughter, Elizabeth & Jesse Stafford, their son, Isaac Stafford & Catherine Bone, their son, Elias Stafford & Mary Elizabeth Monroe(my husband's grandparents). I also have a Gerrard line from Elias gerard b. abt. 1730, married Rachel UNK.Their son, John & Rebecca Van Meter, their dau., Mehetable & Stephen Dye, their dau., Sarah& David Stinchcomb, their dau., Sarah & George Wittig (My g-grandparents). Can you connect my two Gerard/Gerrard lines? I have my Elias 1730 was son of Elias 1704, son of John 1670 (don't know if this is correct or not). The name Mehitable appears in both lines leading me to believe they are connected. Once genforum entry has my Elias, 1730 and Rev. John 1720 as brothers. ?????? Janice Stafford
I wonder if my Christiana Pultz was sister or aunt of the Elizabeth Pultz in your line? I'll have to look at that.
