Evelyn, Yes, you and my husband are probably cousins. He is descended from Jesse & Elizabeth Gerard Stafford. He and I both have Gerard in our ancestry lines and both lines were in the Greene, Miami Co., area of Ohio. My ancestor is Elias Gerard b. 1732 Probably Long Island NY. As best I have been able to put togaether, John 1720 & Elias may have been brothers. Do you have anything on this Elias?
