I'm a descendant of Nicholas and Frances (Lignon) Gerard. My great grandmother, Martha Frances (Gerard) Omanson, was Charles Lewis Gerard's daughter. Charles is a son of Nicholas & Frances. I've had the family history info for years but never got into research until just last week. We're having a Cousin's Reunion on my grandmother's side next summer but because I have more Gerard info than Omanson, my search has led me in the Gerard direction for now. They had 9 children: Mina R. (Briggs) of Osceola, Mary M., Martha Frances Gerard (married to Charles Frederick Omanson and my great grandparents) who lived in Elmira, IL, Caroline A. (Aunt Carrie), Sylvia Eden (Aunt Ellen), Anna L. Gerard (married to a Trent), Charles N., James Isaac and Edith M. Gerard (married to an Imes). I would love to be in touch with those who have info so we can make any corrections and compare notes. I have some photos and some I'm sorry to say I don't have names for. I'm on My Heritage, having just started. I'm originally from IL and have visited Bradford (for family reunions) many times. I'm now living in Lapeer, MI (since 2001 when my husband and I retired). I would be happy to compare notes. Probably private e-mails would work best for me but if you'd prefer to contact via this board, that's fine, too.
