Melba, I don't know if you're aware of it or not, but the German state of Prussia -- (like the U.S., Germany, too, has always been made up of states) -- was a very vast state! From east to west, it stretched close to 900 miles (or 1500 km)! Whether you were aware of this or not, the fact remains that you will not be able to proceed until you do additional research in the U.S. and determine exactly which city, town, or village in the very vast state of Prussia Gottlieb Ferdinand Walter and Caroline Frasse were from. (If they came to the U.S. together, already a married couple, you can very safely assume that they were from the same town.)
