Nobis in Sachsen - 1800 - 1869

I am looking for the parents and siblings of my great-grandparents, Heinrich Ferdinand Nobis, and Edith (Ida) Pauline Krauss (Krauß). They were Ev. Lutherans.

My great-grandfather, Heinrich Ferdinand Nobis, was born on 31 Dec 1828 in Sachsen (The exact birth location is unknown, but is believed to be near Stollberg, Sachsen).

He married Edith (Ida) Pauline Krauss (Krauß). on 16 May 1853 in Neuwiese (now Neuwürschnitz) near Stollberg. Ida Pauline Krauss was born on 27 Nov 1832 in Neuwiese. She was the daughter of Christian August Krauss (Krauß)., who was born on 28 Sept 1803, in Sachsen, possibly Stollberg or the vicinity.

My grandfather, Max Ferdinand Nobis, was born to Heinrich and Ida on 18 December 1853 in Neuwiese. Siblings of my grandfather were:

Heinrich (Henry) Anton Nobis, born unknown location in 1855
Gustave Carl Nobis, born unknown location about 1857
Martha (Marthe) Q. Nobis, born unknown location about 1859
Richard (Rikert) Nobis, born unknown location about 1862
Olga E. Nobis, born unknown location about 1863
Oswald Nobis, born Oelsnitz in June 1869

All were believed to have been born in or close to Neuwiese near Stollberg or Oelsnitz. However, there is a mention of two other towns in the family Bible: Gersdorf and Schellenberg. I do not know what the family connection is to these two towns, although the bans of marriage for Heinrich Ferdinand Nobis and Ida Pauline Krauss were published in Gersdorf, as well as Neuweise.

Heinrich Ferdinand and Max Nobis immigrated to America in about March 1869. Ida Pauline Nobis and the remaining children, immigrated and arrived in New York on 17 Sept 1869 aboard the ship SS Allemannia out of Hamburg.

Also, two other names were shown in the family Bible that Heinrich or Ida brought to America. These were Karl Gottlob Nobis, who could have been a brother or maybe the father of Heinrich Ferdinand Nobis. The second name was Philip
Karl Ernst Börner. No relationship was shown for Philip Börner.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Bob Nobis
