I am looking for any descendants of Liz and Mary Gerten that were married to Andy and Joe Opperman in Chicago. I think Liz and Marys Dad was named Peter Gerten but he may have been an uncle. They renewed their marriage vows in 1972 for their 50th wedding anniversary in Chicago. They lived at 55th and Damon (not sure Damon is correct spelling)in Chicago. Some names of their children as I heard them would be, Gilbert, Johnny, Theresa, Shirley, and I think Dorothy. There were hundreds at the renewal ceremony in 1972, one of them must be interested in genealogy! Liz and Mary were cousins to my Grandmother Susan Gerten Laky.
