William is my ggggg-grandfather. He was a Revolutionary War Vet with the 2nd Battalion of the Pa. Militia. He is brother of James Gettys who founded Gettysburg, Pa. He moved to Rutherford Cty, NC around 1780-1790 and is buried in the Price Family Cemetery near Hollis, NC. I have more info on his descendants and alittle on his parents if you like. Adrian (
