Hi Michael,
Thanks for replying to my posting.I am the great-great grandson of Giovanni Giannini. My father is Paul Vincent Giannini, who is the son of Lorenzo(Louis) Giannini, who was the son of Andrea (Andrew) Giannini , who was the son of Giovanni and brother of Chrisofaro (Chris or C. ) Giannini. I live in Lakeland,TN. I have spoken to Larry Giannini who I believe is Christophers grandson. I found Giovannis name on Andrews Death Certificate, otherwise I would not have known his name. Does your dad know when Giovanni or Albert died , and also does he know the other brothers name, and if they had any sisters?? It is interesting that you are told they came from San Casiano. Everything I have foud on ship manifests listed their home as San Pietro A Vico almost exclusively. It would really help tracking them down to know for certain which town they lived in. I guess if you have been to the house in San Casiano, its safe to say that is where they were from. My father had never heard of Italo until I started doing research and found his name on a ship manifest. He died a year after he arrived of Malaria. He is buried at Calvary cemetery in Memphis. I would really like to talk to you and your dad and trade information.
