David Gibb - Scot - Allegheny County

I think we share a common lineage. You mentioned two Davids and a George in you line of Gibbs. The first Gibb I know of in my line was David Gibb, Rev. War vet, who had a son, David, who had a son, George, who had a son, Perry, who had a son, Wharton, who had a son (my grandfather) Wilbur, which brings us into the 20th century.
