As there are a few Walter Gibb's in the tree, I am not too sure which one you refer to. But the Walter Gibb who died 1849 and who was married to Betty Scott, their children were: Mary, John, Jas. Thos. Janet, Daniel and Robt.
Walter was born around 1807-09. He lived in Cleland all his working life, which comes under Shotts District. He married in Bothwell Parish, which I think covered Shotts/Cleland at that time (1834).
