I have just spoken to my Aunty and she confirmed it all. The names all matched. In particular George's wife Margaret.
She seems to think that Robert married Margaret Emslie's sister Suzzie. She is pretty sure that two brothers married sisters.
She also said something about George having three daughters. And that Robert had a daughter and a son.
What sort of information would you like on Adam's descendents. I have ordered his marriage cert and i will shortly order his birth.
Have either of you got copies or can get scanned your grandfathers BDM certificates.
How far back on the Gibb line have you got. At present i only know of Adam's father and mother John & Isabella but no further back than that. By any chance would you have any certificates dating further back.
As i have only just started the family tree i don't have an awful lot.

My father is the grandson of Adam.
Adam's youngest daughter Edith is my grandmother.
Hopefully between us we can solve this family jigsaw puzzle.
It has been great to get so many replies in the short amount of time i have posted messages.
