DAVID GIBB 1823 Aberdeen, Scotland.

My Great Grandfather David Gibb married Elizabeth Nelson in November, 1823 in Aberdeen. Scotland. They lived in Laurencekirk, Kincardineshire, where they had a Brewery and also a Distillery in Glasgow. Elizabeth died with 4 of her young children from a measles epidemic. They had 4 sons who survived, I understand. One of these sons (the youngest) was my grandfather, James Gibb married to Isobel Kidney of Dundee. They lived in Glasgow for a few years where he worked at the Distillery before returning to Dundee. My father, James Nelson Gibb was their eldest
son. They had 4 daughters(2 died as children)eldest
daughter, Elizabeth Nelson Gibb married Jim Edwards and emmigrated to Chicago around 1919. Other daughter, Ella(married David Milne, Dundee) and youngest son, Robert(married Jessie ??, Dundee)

PLEASE CONTACT ME. JIM EDWARDS DUNDEE RELATIVES EMIGRATED TO AUSTRALIA SOME BEFORE THE GREAT WAR AND SOME AFTER 1919.
