Children of William Gibb and Isabella Horne, married August 12, 1874. So far I have 7 children starting at the eldest. Marion Howitt Gibb born February 17, 1876 married William Robertson on July 8, 1910, she died March 12, 1958 in Shettleston, Glasgow, he died on January 20, 1954 in Shettleston, Glasgow. John Gibb married 1878 (I don't have day or month)to Jean Shaw - I have no other dates in regard to these relatives of yours but I was told by my late mother that they emmigrated to Martins Ferry, Ohio, USA sometime between 1945/55. William Horne Gibb born June 17, 1880 died the following day June 18, 1880. Richard Gibb born September 30, 1883 married Isa (I've forgotten her maiden name, I will need to speak to my brother in Scotland for further information) I know he owned at least one coal mine in the Forest of Dean, England close to the Welsh border. James Gibb born about 1884 married Cathleen Phelps - no further information. Janet Forbes Gibb born about 1886 married Ernest Hynes sometime between 1913 and 1920. The seventh and last I have is Annabella Gibb born about 1888 and married a man named Dent - no further information on them either. I also have it that William was previously married to Isabella Wylie before he married Isabella Horne (makes it easy having the same names - not!) With regard to John Gibb and Janet Forbes, I have William Gibb as their child, it is also possible that they had several other children, one being George Gibb born on June 17,1849 but I haven't had that confirmed yet. I hope everything makes sense. You'll notice that all of the births took place in Scotland. I do appreciate your willingness to share.
Best regards. Rob
