JOhn Gibb b:1812. Native Place:Paisley.
John Gibb was transported to Australia on the "Persian' November 7, 1830 for housebreaking,receiving 14 years.He was sentenced in Glasgow,he was 18 years old and was classified as a farm boy. He married a Jane Huntington who also was transported to Van Diemens Land (Tasmania)for 7 years for stealing a cloak.


They married 1 July 1839 at Bothwell, Tasmania.
